we will organize Dalyan, and Kaunos tour. Overnight is in Ekincik bays.
Day 5-6:
After the
breakfast, we leave for Gφcek Bay, a quiet picturesque location where
we spend sample time swimming, snorkelling and windsurfing. In the
afternoon we are proceeding to the town of Gocek. You surely spend some
time in town, sightseeing, shopping or visiting disco clubs.
Day 7:
After the breakfast we set sail for Kiremit Island. And then after the
launch we will go to Fethiye port. Dinner and overnight are in Fethiye
port.
Day 8: After
the breakfast we spent in the morning walking on the main land and take in
the ruins of a deserted Greek village Kaya Koy was once a size able
settlement and the church attests to this. a short ride by minibus takes
the walkers to Oludeniz, the inland sea. Also know as the “Blue
Lagoon”. Once arrived, either swim back to the yacht, now anchored at
Oludeniz, or take a tender ride. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Overnight here with dinner on board.
Day 9: Breakfast
at anchor alongside Butterfly Valley, then eastward for the long cruise to
Kalkan. Kalkan is a delightful little town set on a hillside overlooking
the Mediterranean. Once we arrive, there is time to explore the shops and
the harbour before dinner in a Kalkan quaint restaurant. Overnight in the
harbour.
Day 10:
for those interested in visiting some very interesting ancient sites,
there is the opportunity to see nearby Xanthos, Patara and Letoon today.
Xanthos was the capital of the Lycian league which rose to the height of
its splendour in the 10th century BC. Patara known as the birth place of
Apollo, was an important grain trade port in antiquity and is now mostly
covered in sand dunes – still, it is an interesting place of worship for
the people of Xanthos and is cited in many guide books as one of the most
are underwater. Overnight is in kalkan or anchored off.
Day
11,12,13: To the
region known as Kekova for a two-day visit to include Kekova island,
Ucagiz and Kale Koy (ancient Simena). Kekova Island has a very nice spot
known as Tersane, where the apse of a church stands on the beach. The
sunken city is the other major attraction on Kekova Island. Where the land
subsided, it took the remains of a town with it, so the ruins can be
viewed from above. Ucagiz is a small town which has yet to be disturbed by
tourism. There are a number of sarcophagi to be sen near the town. At Kale
Koy, there is a simple sarcophagus standing in the water at some
interesting steps carved into off-lying rocks. Perhaps the highlight of a
visit toKekova is the climb to the castle and the medieval fortress on the
hill. The view is breathtaking. Dining ashore will be possible in Kale Koy
and Ucagiz.
Day 14:
Kastelorizon. This beautiful Greek Island a short distance from the
Turkish coast is in a absolute ‘must to visit’. We moor stern to the
quay in the typically Greek village, where one can visit the local museum
and dine at the various waterside restaurants. A walk up the path to the
top of the precipitous mountain behind the village rewards one with
spectacular vistas of the surrounding islands and the Turkish mainland.
Before leaving the island, we sail down its eastern coast and visit the
beautiful Blu Grotto. After the launch we will start to Ekincik and we
will return to Rhodes.
Day 15: Our
last breakfast together, then it is time to say goodbye until we meet
again, some other time for another cruise.
